We are looking for an ARB registered architect to join our practice.  Working as part of a wider team, in either lead or assisting lead role, the candidate will be expected to take projects from conception to completion.  Liaising with clients to satisfy their requirements and manage expectations, demonstrating the high level of customer service and excellence we pride ourselves on.  The role will include: 

• Preparation and presentation of feasibility design proposals, planning application packages, building regulations, construction drawings, specification of works and tender packages

• Carry out design stage risk assessments

• Ensure any surveys or regulatory requirements that are required before work can commence are carried out

• Liaise with specialist consultants, sub-contractors, contractors and other relevant professionals

• Advising clients on environmental, legal, health and safety and regulatory requirements which might affect the project

• Awareness of regulations ensuring construction project falls within all constraints/legal requirements

• Awareness of new products/ industry developments

• Production of detailed drawings for all stages

• Meeting attendance (clients, consultants and site visits)

• Problem solving

• Manage time spent on projects efficiently

• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a love of design and architecture

• Proficient in AutoCAD/Revit

• Working as part of a small team, as well as working under own initiative
